Mine arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier. That little bit of extra length, hardly noticeable unless you put it back to back with the Kaweco, allows for the converter. It makes all the difference. Kaweco should learn from it. The nib, though extra fine, which I rarely use, was not particularly scratchy and I'm enjoying writing with it as a change of pace.

My first "real" Stipula! An Etruria Amber with an 18k medium nib. I've long admired the flamboyant design of these pens but never found a good enough deal...until now! ($180 with some minor issues--nothing that Brad Torelli can't fix).

Waiting on a Conid filler demonstrator pen. I have always admired the TWSBI on steroids looking titanium parts pen. I went with a simple medium steel nib but i think it takes any standard number 6 nib collar so my FC Masuyama tuned nib may be headed for a new home. Anyone know how long the pens take to ship from Europe?

I'm on a group buy so I probably won't have it till the end of the month. But for the money I saved I'll deal with the wait

How do you find group buys on items? And may I ask how much you saved, (not off of full MSRP, but advertised price). I have always wondered how to get into a group buy on newly released pens. Instead I have stalked the online stores and waited until just before the model is gone, pitted one against the other, or the item went to closeout sales to pounce, . I have definitely saved, but have wondered if GB's could have gotten me the pens sooner for less.

Pulled the trigger on my first "grail" pen. I've been wanting to get one since I had hands on time with one at the Philly Pen Show 2016. Soon I'll have an Aurora Optima in blue Auroloide with Chrome trim in my hands. Went with the medium nib.

I guess I'm not waiting for pens. I had a list for the Chicago Pen Show, found more pens than I had on my list. Guess I'll have to live on ham and beans for awhile with the ham only once a week. I found a Parker 51 Buckskin that was on my list. I also found a Parker 51 vac. demonstrator that wasn't on my list.

A Parker duofold blue marble finish. I wouldn't say it's a grail pen, as they are available at reasonable prices, but I have wanted one for some time. This one fitted the bill nicely oblique broad nib and my favourite colour.
