They have got to come up with shorter names for these pens!!

Does anyone know if the broad palladium nib is stubbish (like the Montblanc broad) or thick with every stroke?
I just swapped my steel's nib for a broad and I would say it's the latter. Pretty much a fat line in any direction.

Thanks Tracey and John! This will be my first non stub/italic broad nib. Dr Stephen Brown's passion for these juicy Visconti nibs is very infectious. I'll see how it goes. If it doesn't work out, I'll probably sell it...

I am awaiting a Visionnaire. This is a kickstarter project pen that just got funded today and for my pledge I should receive at the end of November or early December. First time I've done anything like this, but these folks look serious and the pen looks cool. Check it out and let me know what you think:

There is so much controversy around that pen. Pen Addict blog has some info on it.

Nicely looking pens. Did you go for the Chrome or Noir version ?

I had a heck of a time with customs when I ordered my Renga pen. I had to fill out some papers the Fedex sent me and recently received a bill for some duties (thought the pen was released.) I have never had this happen with the pens I've purchased around the world. Weird.

Its ok though as it will be a surprise when it finally shows up.

Very interesting the yellow and pink rings look snazy. The Mottled Brown Ebonite looks like an exotic wood, is that the problem with Customs ?

Ilangai - mmm that Delta Parthenope in tortoise brown looks nice both business-like and blingy at the same time.
I found a old review of one:
    http://fountainpenreview.blogspot.co...pe-review.html
Parthenope seems to have a lot of meanings. I suppose this would be appropriate for an Italian pen "a Greek settlement now part of the Italian city of Naples"

I picked one of these up a few weeks ago and traded the nib for a fine stub from Fountain Pen Revolution and it is a delight to use!

STILL waiting for that Brown Slender Vac from Ron Zorn. I will never send it to him again...5 months for pen restoration??? No way! That and the fact that it is expensive makes it a "never again" for me. That said, I would happily have him restore a pen at a show...granted he can finish during the show.

Before placing the bid on that pen i've looked at that same review and was even more fascinated by the meaning behind the name.. The looks of it dropped my jaws to the floor, and i can't wait to put my hands on it.

So many people getting expensive pens. I just put in an order for a Pilot Metropolitan (Black with dots) and a Pilot Plumix (The pretty bright blue one!). I'm probably going to end up swapping those nibs and carrying around the Metropolitan.

I'm waiting for a cheap one too - Pilot Parallel 1.5 mm.

After that, I'll get myself a Pilot Custom Heritage 92 - only if they come in more nib grade choices...
