I love it! I'm feeling about the same way right now! I don't even know how many I have coming, just as long as they keep coming!

Actually, I do remember what I just bought from a 22 year old gentleman in Budapest: A Black Esterbrook Dollar. So, about 2 weeks ship time.

Well, I promised an update, so I'll keep it in this thread: both of the acquisitions arrived on the same day, and I couldn't be happier! This Parker "Magnetix" Desk Pen is a complete hoot! Not only is the pen basically a "51" with a taper on it, but it is in very, very fine condition. All it took was a light polishing, and when dipped in water there were immediate dark blue waftings, so I sucked up some water and it started writing like butter with the reconstituted ink...

The "Magnetix" moniker apparently (have to do more research on this) comes from the ball joint attachment of the pen holder. As I moved it around to use a little Simichrome on it, I couldn't see any pivot openings or anything. I finally decided to pull a little, and a little more, and ... pop! It popped out, and it is a polished steel ball that is held in place in the rounded depression by a strong magnet in the base. It's more than strong enough to hold it in any position, but moves very smoothly...

Lastly, I hoped that this would be a great desk accessory for my "current rotation" pens, and it totally hits the mark. The desk pen itself is a real winner, but adding this to the mix makes it a very fun $24.00 purchase.

BTW, the middle pen is the other purchase, a lovely Eversharp Skyline demi. Hardly needed any cleaning up, section came out pretty easily. The only thing is that I have to put in an order, because this pen requires a very particular sac (necked and tapered), so I can't try it out properly right now.

    But I will.
Awesome! But the best part is you doing your little jig!

Took a leap of faith on a Moore 94-A tonight, a pen from the early 1940's that has some very interesting features. Waiting now...

I'm waiting on an old Japanese eyedropper-filler, a Platinum sterling from the 70s, and an interesting Pilot Custom from the 70s. Fun!

First one to arrive is a Moore pen with a "Maniflex" nib. These have been just at the edge of my radar for a while, and it popped up at the right time. Not a blingy pen, but of historical interest to me:

Next one I'm really excited about, and I saw it just as shown. Had to buy all the stuff, but will still be very worth it. Bonus to anyone who can identify the pen:

Not yet. Pen is probably just getting there today. I'll post.

Kicking into patience mode (whilst having officially put my bank account into budget lock down), as I am now awaiting a custom Edison/Hakumin desk pen. With luck, it will arrive on or before my birthday this summer.

Oooh. I have no idea what the pen is but I like the black face watch and the Airborne Jump Master pin. Is the watch in the lower left a pocket or wrist watch?

Just decided what I'm spending my birthday-money on: A Lamy Joy 1.1 stub, a TWSBI 580 with a F nib, and, since my brother gave me a bottle of Edelstein Amber I decided on a bottle of Private Reserve Sherwood Green and the Diamine Imperial Purple. Placed the order not 5 minutes ago and almost immediately received a reply from the store, thanking me for my order and that some articles are not in stock, so I will have to wait untill, best case scenario, the end of next week before I can tear the box apart! That was a bit of a bummer...props to the store for responding so fast though!

Only the large Westclox is a pocket, all others are wrist watches. The black face is a Timex, so not sure it lands hard in the "like" category! These are just the auction photos, I'll let you know more when the package arrives.

Ding, we have a winner! I don't know the history well-enough, and I'll wait til I actually get the pen in hand to do more info-gathering. I wasn't *too* familiar with the Ink-Vues, but had seen enough in passing photos that the celluloid pattern and general pen caught my eye in that first photo. The next sealed it, with the split lever, and I jumped on the BIN:

This dip pen was made by Madson & Buck Co.. The seller didn't mention the year of it, I think it is older than 80 years....After I get it, will post some awful hand writing here
