    Good point!
What's delaying my ebay order is my inability to choose between the Amber and the Charcoal.

On the way for me is a TWSBI mini Classic with extra-fine nib. Along for the ride is a 1.1 Italic nib and some Private Reserve Sherwood Green (fast dry) ink.

For my wife we have a LAMY Safari white with a 1.1 Italic nib and some Noodler's Cactus Fruit Eel ink which is a purple color.

I'm waiting on a Platinum #3776 Chartres Blue that had to be ordered from the manufacturer. It's been weeks and there is not ETA. Not sure how long this is going to take...

I just heard from Fahrney's that I won the National Handwriting Day contest (!), so now I'm waiting for a Stipula Etruria Rainbow Limited Edition in Green. (The 14K Nib version, apparently.) I'm pretty stoked. This will be my first Stipula, but I do tend to love my Italians, so I'm excited to put this one through its paces. Should be here in a few days.

Just ordered myself the new special edition Lamy Al-Star in Bluegreen. I wasn't too impressed with their peal edition but this one is such an interesting colour!

Nice colour that one. What nib did you select for it ?

My Pearl Al-star handles Edelstein Amber alright so it gets some bonus points for that.

Still waiting on a Sailor ProGear & a Pelikan

I have a Noodler's Acrylic Konrad - John Mung with a nice Goulet Medium nib on its way to me. I am doing the antsy dance trying to decide if I want to get an Edison Collier or the new Seasonal Black Frost Nouveau Premiere.

I'm waiting on three pens at the moment, a Noodler's Ahab Flex in Medieval Lapis, a TWSBI Vac 700 fine nib in clear plastic both ordered from the Goulet Pen Company and a Conway Stewart Churchill fine nib in Rioja with lever fill.

My Platinum Chartres Blue is taking forever. Apparently it had to be ordered from the factory that could not provide an estimated time of arrival. This is holding another pen in the same order of course.

My February pen purchasing is turning into a test of my patience.

Similar thing with my Sailor luckily it is only holding itself up.
The Pelikan on the other hand seems to be trying to visit as many states in the USA as it can before heading overseas.
IL, OH, KY, TN so far.

And now a BlueGreen Lamy Al-Star 1.1 italic.

Just ordered a Duke "Bamboo". What will arrive first?

    I love surprises!

I love packages in the mail, ever since I'd send in cereal boxtops as a kid!

Sorry for not keeping track of things -- which Pelikan is migrating over to your fair side of Sydney?

I'll get a Blue Green Al-Star in a couple of months, perhaps with an M nib this time. It's a very pleasing and calming colour, I reckon.

Yes VO. "You've got mail!" are three very powerful words, and I love my office mail room guys.

I see, not just any Pelikan. Good for you! I always thought the patterns on the Place de la Concorde looked like an ice version of those bands on the surface of Jupiter. It has an almost Zen kind of tranquil quality. Talk about calming ~~
