Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze... I think. I can’t decide on that or the Crystal Dream. I’ll probably have to flip a coin. I did make an impulse purchase of two vintage Conway Stewart 58’s today, so, that will be interesting when they get here.

I am just waiting for two pens.
A Swan Mabie Todd Eye dropper Pen with an over and Under feed with an italic Nib.
An Onoto The la Rue Piston filler" ONOTO THE PEN " dated 1906 year. Nice slim pen of the ONOTO SIGNATURE PEN.
Bunch of rare "vintage "dream nibs" I bought recently. Highly sort-after favourite pens of most top Calligraphers. It is a rare gold find.

My THIRD baby OMAS...an early '40s vest pocket model in mottled grey-green with chrome-colored trim this time. Stantuffo tuffante filler, which I have on my faceted Extra Lucens from a little earlier...actually slightly less bothersome than a Parker Vacumatic, from my limited experience. This one might be good with all those interesting grey inks out there...Can't wait!

I have a few items on the way that I am looking forward to receiving, but the biggest is a Pilot Custom 845 (M) in vermilion.

I have wanted one of these pens in red for quite some time, but I didn't really want to spend $850. Pen Chalet and Goldspot have them for a decent discount, but the only red one was a Fine. Otherwise would have to get the black one.

Someone posted a used vermilion on r/pen_swap for a very nice price, within minutes of my logging in this morning. Couldn't resist! (I am always missing the great deals on there because they only last for a few minutes, as a rule.)

I've been hankering after an ebonite pen for a while. Would have liked to get a vintage Indian model with a homegrown nib, but couldn't see any way of searching or purchasing. So, ended up settling for a Ranga. No nib though. Would love to get a nice old working Guider or similar.

Rangas are nice pens! No need to “settle”.

My main challenge with Rangas is finding a nib and feed that work. Combinations that seem like they ought to work sometimes don’t.

And with that, a clipless Ranga 3C in Red Brick & Khaki swirl ebonite [inspired by Burma celluloid] is on its way, with a #6 Bock titanium in fine. Now the waiting game...

Shouldn't be much of a wait - their new shipping seems to get things through in a couple of days

Not bad! That sounds very promising...
What number / model is the Swan?
Could you show us more once they have arrived?

In another thread in a galaxy far away, there is a thread going based on the most obscure brands people have seen. And, sure enough, when this BIN popped up on eBay, I had to have it. FP, pencil and... some other thing, all in a wild celluloid, from the "Pen Company Brand".

I'll come back with a pic when they arrive...
