    Default Help with ID of this pen please.

    Hello pen friends;

    Was wondering if someone could help me ID this pen that came up for sale on Facebook. The owner believes it’s an m1000. I am not sure if it is because of the lack of section ring. It is 14.5 cm capped. But the color scheme doesn’t resemble a 1005. The silver looks too muted to me, and the finial is different than reference photos I have found. Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

    I believe the section ring is there but is a bit dark/muted like the rest of the silver coloured trim. It's more visible in the first image. At the size you've given I would imagine it has to be a M1005

    Thank you for your response! I see it now. But the finial still has me confused a bit. Looks way too dark.

    This is why purchasing an expensive pen by looking at dodgy photos, as opposed to examining it in person, can be a crap shoot.
