Great everyday writer. Nib writes like a F-M.

There is a small scuff at the section. I have not attempted to buff it out as people often do using a polishing cloth and resin polish or silver polish.

It was posted twice and the other thread is marked as sold. If the pen is actually sold then this thread should also be marked as sold.

I noted this too. It appeared to me that the first sales post had mistakenly listed the nib as a "14C" (earlier era of 149 production) when the photos clearly documented that it was from a later era of production and marked "14K."
I assumed the OP "corrected" his or her error by marking the "14C" sales post as sold and then relisting it correctly as a "14K."
This, however, is only my assumption and in view of the uncertainties the OP really should clarify.

But wouldn't that have been a simple edit? Especially for an experienced member who's been here for a really long time.

Yes you can edit your title as you say, but it does not change the main search title at the top left of the thread, and you can't delete a thread. So, as an experienced member, you did the best that you could possibly do. Good job and really nice pen.
