FOR SALE 1982 1st Pelikan M400 Fountain Pen 14C Friction Fit OB Nib + K400 Ballpoint
As I'm selling part of my Pelikan collection, I'm offering this rare 1st version Pelikan M400 Green Striated Fountain Pen with a matching K400 Ballpoint Pen.
The fountain pen is fitted with a 14C-585 nib in an Oblique Broad (OB) point.
This is the very first version of the M400 with a friction fit nib unit, that was made in 1982 only.
In 1983 the screw in nib unit was introduced.
The K400 takes the old Pelikan 237 refills, so also is a first version model.
The original refill was dried out. Comes with a new adapted black Cross refill.
Pelikan 237 refills are very hard to find, but a Cross 804 refill can be adapted to fit quite easily.
Both pens are fully working and in excellent to near mint condition and show just minimal signs of use and handling.
Come in a Pelikan box (not the original one)
