FOR SALE c1952 Tortoise Pelikan 400 Fountain Pen OB Nib + 450 Pencil

As I'm selling part of my Pelikan collection, I'm offering this Pelikan 400 Tortoise Striated fountain pen with a matching Pelikan 450 pencil.
The 400 is fitted with a 14C-585 Oblique Broad nib. The 450 takes 1.18mm leads.

Made in Germany c1955.

The 400's piston runs smoothly and draws the full amount of ink.
The 450 is fully working.

The 400's cap is free of hairline cracks!!

Cosmetically the pens are in excellent vintage condition with just light signs of use commensurate with their age; see the photo's for details.

Come in an unbranded protective pen case.

I can’t believe this lasted more than 15 minutes. An early tortoise M400 with factory OB (even marked on the piston knob?).
