Parker 61 "rainbow" cap
I have a Parker 61 gold cap with a two tone "rainbow" finish. The cap is in need of cleaning and polishing. Can anyone recommend a method to do this job that won't ruin the finish. The cap shows normal wear for its age.

I’d use a polishing cloth if I were going to give it a shine. Search for sunshine cloth.
I rather like the enhanced colors that come with age so I generally leave them as is for the next caretaker. Use will also shine them up.

In fact, the contrast between the two materials will be better visible if the cap is not polished. I prefer also the patina look, specially on the Heritage cap:
