Default How do I close a sale lilsting?

OK, you all helped me figure out how to delete photos in my manage atttachments area, now I am having trouble in figuring out how to close a sale. I thought I knew how to do this with thread tools, but when I went to my thread tools this morning to close a listing, there wasn't any "close listing" on the thread tools menu! So how do I close a for sale listing?

Mmmmm, that's where it was. Settings might have reverted when Dan reloaded the forum software.

Well that is frustrating. But at least I know now it wasn't me. I had thought I knew how to close a listing until I actually tried! And then I discovered that whatever it was I used the last time isn't there any more! I mean, gee! It would seem to me that being able to close a sale listing would be pretty high up on the list of things that should be readily apparent and easily discovered.

It's a board customization easily missed if you don't have a way of keeping track of all the easily missed customizations.

It doesn't hurt to keep in mind that the percentage of people who sell things on this forum is a very small part of the larger group of people who use and view and post to the forum. When only a very few sets of eyeballs go looking for a particular feature, and maybe some of those don't even choose to report the missing option, well... it is easy to see how these things can get overlooked.

Yes, this must have changed when we updated the forum software.

Please go to the thread you want to change, click "Thread Tools" at the top, then "Mark this thread as sold..."

Indeed. Good thing that eventually some eyes do get around to it! For the good of the forum.

Hi Dan. this is exactly where I went. Did you just now tweak it? add it? I would like to know that I did not completely not see this!
