Default Pineider Modern Times fountain pen

Anyone planning on purchasing the new Pineider Modern Times fountain pen? It is a billed as a piston filler, but there is no ink window and the piston ('captive converter'?) does not look user serviceable. No reviews on Youtube yet. About $330(?).

I only have one of five Pineiders that I have owned.
All but one had issues and didn't seem well built.

I still have an Alchemist and like it but the first nib was bad.

It seems that the more expensive they are, the more problems.
The Modern Times looks nice but the triangular section might not work for me..

The triangular Omas rec'd so much praise for its shape that I thought the Pineider MT might be worth a try. In other news, the co-released pen is a vac filler, the Avatar Touchdown (?) is a handsome pen, but it has a fatal design flaw, IMHO. The release knob at the end of the barrel is designed such that if you try to post the cap while the knob is in the open position, the cap will probably get stuck on the knob and the user may have to stop everything and disassemble the pen in order to release the cap. If the cap is posted while the end knob is closed, then there is apparently no danger for the cap getting stuck. This was pointed out by the recent "Inkquiring Minds" review on Youtube.

If the 360, Safaris and vanishing points don't work for you then the Modern times might either.

I have a 360 but the nib has been rotated so that the point is at the bottom.
    It feels great to me.

Despite it doesn't have an ink window, the pen does come with a transparent ink reservoir that can be swapped out for different colors of ink. This pen is also available in a range of colors and finishes and is designed to be both stylish and functional. It features a 14k gold nib, which is available in a variety of sizes to suit different writing styles.

    Huh?
This sounds like it was pulled directly from a marketing brochure.

If the 'transparent ink reservoir ' is more than just a common converter, I'd like to know more about it.

It seems that the pen does contain a captive converter. I wonder to what extent the MT can be disassembled and serviced by the user.

I have to admit that I was not blown away in first seeing this pen but the video on the Pen Chalet changed that. On that it looks pretty sharp.
