Ok Chuck. Just for the purpose of this conversation, let's forget about Trump and only be thinking about Biden. No comparisons, no predictions, no nothing. Just Biden.

Do you really believe what you have said?? Honestly, other than (some, not all) Democratic politicians, the Biden White House and the DNC, I have never heard a sole say this, which you claim as fact, to be true. I'm not talking about far right conservatives, I'm talking about plain, every day, middle of the road, middle class folks. The heart & soul of America. By and large, just about every facet of their lives has become more challenging and more stressful as a result of the Biden presidency and policies. They are miserable and are losing hope.
What you say is just not true.
I voted for Biden because for me, I had no choice since I would never want to have a history of having voted for Trump on my conscience. YMMV, as always.

What was attributed to Trump I only heard from a few Republicans. The trajectory Trump inherited from Obama was upward. His tax cuts took away deductibles for me like milage and fees to manage my investments. You should not have to ask, but the deficit was increased because of those tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy, who already had plenty of deductions. For example, a business owner could deduct his $80k pick up, but Joe Blow working at the company couldn't deduct milage if he used it for his job.

What has become more challenging for these people you know?

Gas prices, just as one example. Groceries, as another. You know, that essential stuff.

Chuck, once again, this is not about Trump, it is about Biden, so please stop bringing Trump into the conversation.

With regard to your question, ("What has become more challenging for these people you know?") I think dneal has addressed your question in his recent posts. It's all basic blocking and tackling, meat & potatoes type stuff. The vast majority don't have any investments to speak of hence no concerns about deductions relative to them.

But, let's look at it another way........
Show me a poll, any poll, that validates your claim that "Mr. Biden has been able to improve the lives of millions of Americans and put together programs that will have lasting positive effects." Since you say "Anyone informed knows this". you should have lots of polling data readily available to substantiate that claim.....

This was an easy, simple, search...

"Here’s how the United States has fared since President Joe Biden took office two years ago:

The economy added 10.7 million jobs under Biden, putting the total 1.2 million higher than before the pandemic.
The unemployment rate dropped back to 3.5%; unfilled job openings surged, with over 1.7 for every unemployed jobseeker.
Inflation roared back to the highest level in over 40 years before slowing markedly in late 2022. Overall, consumer prices are up nearly 14%. Gasoline is up 39.1%.
Wages rose briskly, by 9.5%. But after adjusting for inflation, “real” weekly earnings went down 4.1%.
The number of people without health insurance went down by 4.2 million.
The trade deficit for 2022 is still on pace to set a new record.
Economic growth has bounced back after two consecutive quarters of negative growth, and corporate profits reached a new high.
Crude oil production has increased over 4%, and crude oil imports are up 7.5%.
Gun purchases, as measured by background checks for firearm sales, declined for the second consecutive year.
The number of people receiving federal food assistance has increased slightly.
The publicly held debt is up 13.7%, even as annual deficits have declined.
Apprehensions of those trying to illegally cross the southwest border into the U.S. are up 351% for the past 12 months, compared with President Donald Trump’s last year in office.
Stocks performed poorly. The S&P 500-stock index inched up 3.1%."

This doesn’t support your argument. It refutes it.

But you can’t even see it from your echo chamber.

    Cue the cognitive dissonance response…

Jobs, lower unemployment, food assistance, wages are the sorts of things from which most Americans can benefit.

I am glad to see some gun restriction movement.

I am also pleased with how he is trying to restore bonds with our neighbors. I believe there is a direct benefit for millions of Americans where our NATO neighbors think we care about them.

As always, Seny, YMMV. We don't have to see things the same, but you cannot suggest that I am trolling with a straight face. You and dneal troll the most of any member here, but accuse others. It is a tired old poly and it is obvious and amusing.

Since you both are fans of Steve Bannon, where he gets his information is interesting.

    From HCR:

"Now, behavioral scientist Caroline Orr Bueno, a specialist in disinformation, noted that the X (Twitter) account that seeded the “Hawaii, not Ukraine” narrative was created just last month and that accounts associated with both Russia and China are amplifying the narrative that Biden has neglected Maui. It seems telling that the same right-wing “independent journalist” who went to East Palestine has flown into Maui to attack Biden’s response, showing up on Trump ally Steve Bannon’s “War Room.”

    I just did.............

    Why?

Yes, YMMV. Mine is closely correlated with the well being of the heart & soul of American. Hard working middle class Americans. Those who believe in an honest days' work for an honest day's pay.
Sadly, yours is more aligned with the two extremes. The top 1% (Oh Gawd, I can't deduct my investment expenses anymore) and those who expect more & more entitlements while taking offense that they are expected to take a job where they are not going to be the CEO.

Chuck, suggesting that you might be trolling is more generous than accusing you of ignorance or stupidity.

Let’s just use the context of fuel prices. Goods must be transported. If it costs more to transport them, that cost is recouped by higher prices for goods.

“Real” weekly earnings dropped by 4.1% in your cite. That is effectively a 4.1% pay cut for the average American family, because of inflation.

If the lockdown killed vast numbers of jobs, and then mercifully ended (at least temporarily), and some of those jobs came back, that's a victory for "Bidenomics?" Wow. Hey, everybody who believes that, I can get you a great deal on the Brooklyn Bridge!

How did Joseph Biden and Kamala Harris overcome their track records and get elected? The stupidity of the American electorate, the constant barrage of left-wing propaganda from the so-called news media, and still-rampant TDS (not to go off-topic) made it as easy as pie, and would make it just as easy for Newsome. And that's assuming no ballot box stuffing or vote-flipping by voting machines illegally hooked up to the internet. (Yeah, I know Dominion denies it. So sue me.)

I live in California, and the mentality of the majority of people out here has to be experienced first hand to be believed. Many of them still won't leave their houses or answer their doors without wearing a mask, and that's just one of many for instances. The big thing now is all the "woke" people who have never voted for anyone anyone other than a Democrat (unless maybe for a candidate from the Green Party or the Peace and Freedom Party) going around saying, "Can you believe how extreme those woke people are?" The joke is that they are onboard with probably every aspect of the "woke" agenda except for maybe one or two exceptionally extreme positions that they personally can't support. It might be sexually mutilating children, it might be defunding police in the most violent communities in the country, or something else that's so in your face that no sane person could support it, but having said that, they congratulate themselves on "not being woke." And then they'll go right ahead and vote for those same woke politicians that they agree with only 95% of the time, be it Newsome, or Biden again if the Democratic Party hasn't put him out to pasture or thrown him under the bus, or anyone else that the power behind the throne selects in the name of the American people -- because, hey, at least it's not a Republican.

It’s no longer 2022, Seny. Good grief. What a waste of band width.

@dneal or denial, what did you expect anyone, including yourself could have done post pandemic.

Trump inherited an upward economic trajectory, from the 2008 recession.

I can’t believe people still need this to be explained. Get out from behind your desk.

At least Chip has photos to share .

    Excuse me????
Newsflash! That 2022 comment was not mine nor my failure to recognize it was 2023. You are the one who provided it!

Yep, good grief about sums it up Chuck. You have become totally unglued again.

Oh, and while I have you on the line, congrats for substantially editing your post #28 after I had posted my reply to it. That practice is misleading, if not unethical when you know full well that someone will come along and tries to put my later comments into their proper perspective. I guess old habits are tough to shake. Misleading / unethical behavior is something for which you had special professional training and then practice.

You have to cut Chuck a little slack. All his narratives are collapsing because they've turned out to be hoaxes perpetrated by Democrats and their media; and he hasn't been told what to think about that yet.

    Russian Collusion was a hoax.
Covid is the most deadly pandemic ever was a hoax.
Vaccines are safe and effective was a hoax.
    Masks work was a hoax.
Hunter's laptop is Russian disinformation was a hoax.

Now he has to deal with Trump Jan 6 prosecution hoax currently being perpetrated, and the many problems with Biden; as they try to pull "mask up! there's a new variant!!!"... like that's going to work.

During the interim, we'll get more "you were wrong about...", "Bannon" and other deflections by false attribution. I'm sure "Tucker" will pop up in the near future.

Speaking of what Biden has attempted, the student loan forgiveness, which would relieve the burden that millions of Americans must bear.

Any who is against this action that would help the millions that a member is concerned about? “Republican lawmakers—who had no problem with the government forgiving millions of dollars of their own business loans—have tried everything they can to stop me from providing relief to hardworking Americans. Some are even objecting to the actions we announced today, which follows through on relief borrowers were promised, but never given, even when they had been making payments for decades. The hypocrisy is stunning, and the disregard for working and middle-class families is outrageous.”

And, some Republicans want to increase the age to vote.

Dreamers continue to have no relief because of Republicans.

Immigration reform cannot occur because of Republicans, for which Democrats seek to do.

Alabama senator is holding up military promotions and he doesn't live in the state he serves.

Overall, Biden is more closely related to the people he serves as far as I am concerned. I'll have no problem pulling the lever again.
