Default problem with montblanc nib and cap

    Good night:

I have a problem with a Montblanc Starwalker fountain pen: I’m not able to remove the nib from the cap
I have tried with diferent tools but its impossible. I’m starting to damage the nib, so I need your advice.

    Do you have any idea?

    Thanks!

I'd message Ron Z and ask him.
Hmmm. I wonder what this button does...

Select a pencil eraser that's sightly smaller in diameter than the inside of the cap, press it against the exposed part of the section and screw it out. Don't press too hard; I notice that Francis Goossens isn't a fan of Starwalker cap threads. See: https://www.fountainpennetwork.com/f...hreads-repair/

Hope you succeeded to remove the section in the meantime?
Alternatively you could try using a triangle file or better a triangle scraper which centers in the inner chamber of the nib unit
