Cool De Atramentis Document Urban Grey

This is an excellent ink by De Atramentis, lovely colour, well behaved and easy to clean.

    Let's start with the chroma:

It even loved Hammermill...The pink smudges are from Noodler's Park Red, I reviewed before

And finally an artwork. It was a part of a daily challenge Dystopia, inspired form the Matrix.

Great review, Yazeh! This is my favorite Document ink (possibly next to Document Fuchsia, which I should get a new sample of to test). I was surprised by how much I like the color. Good quotes. Great urbane kitties and mouse. Very cool Matrix-inspired art, though the person on the left has me puzzled... :/

I'm glad you like the quotes and looking forward to seeing your review on Fuchsia. I've got a screaming pink, which I'm dreading to review.
I was trying to draw a man sized mouse with a big snout . It seems I need to post something else

Could be a long wait - no plans to buy more samples any time soon... Looking forward to the screaming pink!

No worries - it's probably as much my inability to see what's there - like some of those visual puzzles where some people just can't see the alternate image...

I'm a fan of gray inks, but not nanos! Though I do like the natty vest-wearing duo. And the Matrix sketch.

Brandon Sanderson? I learned of that author not long ago, but only started to read a couple of his YA books.

Than you, Yazeh. I always look forward to your ink reviews!
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

    My eBooks. Because why not.

Thanks a lot! I learned of the quote in a "spiritual" talk and found it really inspiring. Yes other interesting nano inks are coming

Thank you @Yazeh - great review of one of an ink I use a lot. Along with the green grey and fog grey, this is always in a pen somewhere for things that need a bit of permanence - especially for the outside of envelopes and packages. Of all their waterproof greys (and there seem to be several across the document and artist range), I think this one is my favourite.

@LizEF - I seem to recall you reviewed this a couple of years ago, but I might be mixing it up with one of the other greys.

Don't remember when, but yes, I reviewed it quite a while ago - really liked it!

🙏 I was quite surprised how much I enjoy it for sketching. It has that lovely understated feel to it

It was the early episodes of Quin and Makhabesh...

    Hello,

I'm using a warm grey from Diamine in my dip pen practise at the moment, and it is very similar to your review colour. I must admit I do like it. I guess it's because I'm drawn (no pun intended, but I'll take it) to the innocence it procures. Who knows.
