Default Parker 61 will not write.

I recently acquired a Parker 61 in very good overall condition. I flushed the old ink out and soaked the pen overnight. I refilled the pen with fresh ink but cannot get the nib to write. Flossing the nib does not help because only a tiny area of the nib can be accessed. Any suggestions for fixing this issue would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Is this a capillary filler? If so, try using a bulb syringe to completely flush the capillary unit until it runs clear. It should not need "soaking". What kind of ink are you using? Did you let the capillary unit sit long enough in the ink? Those units don't last forever, it might be that you have a worn out one.
