Default Torelli 139 Blind Cap Oxidation

    Hello,

I have a Torelli 139 Demonstrator pen, which seems to be suffering from some oxidation on the threads that hold the filling mechanism to the blind cap. Since the pen is clear, you can now see the greenish hue coming through from the metal. I've attached a photo for reference. Is there a good way to remove this blind cap, and clean the threads? Anything I can do to prevent this from re-occurring?

Brad Torelli guarantees his pens for his lifetime. I suggest you give him the opportunity to fix it, if you are willing to wait....

Does yours have swirl scratches inside the barrel?
