Default Colours making up only a small part of your collection

On FPN there is a thread asking you to show your blue pens. That proved to be an amusing exercise as I ended up having more blue pens than I was actually aware of. However, that set me thinking about pen colours. Black pens, of course, are ubiquitous. Apparently, so are blue pens. Especially if you are into Pelikan, you probably have some greens. But what about red? In my 80+ collection I have 4 red pens. And what about yellow? Orange? Grey (not silver- or metallic-grey but real grey)? Brown or other earthtones? What colours do you have in your collection in small numbers?

For starters here are my red pens:

    l-to-r: ?, Visconti Manhattan, Pelikan M600, ?

To add some spice, I'll let you guess the question marks.

    Cheers,
    Peter

That would make sense for a Dark Lord. Does He even allow for blue?
And I'm wondering about your choice of ink. Uhhmm...black?

    Cheers,
    Peter

Force lightning is blue, so it is acceptable. Then there is the whole light saber color thing that came up at the last Sith conference.

I use a lot of blue ink.

Don't you also need a supply of shiny white Lamy Safari Stormtroopers too ?

I have about an even distribution of black, blue, and green pens. But my favorites are the clear demos.

Hmmm, this is interesting. I'll have to sort my pens by color and see what unfolds.

I have no white pens or clear pens.
I own 5 Lamys but none of them are Safaris or Alstars.

When I initially read the thread, I thought it was the same as the FPN thread. I got it backwards. So which color I have the least of? Red. I have one Red Esterbrook J. I don't count the red Wearever because it's broken.

Good question! I don't have a lot of yellow or white pens. I have a couple of ivory-coloured pens (Pilot Prera and Faber-Castell E-motion) and four white fountain pens (Pilot Penko, Retro 51 Scriptmaster and a couple of Sheaffer NoNonsense pens)...but I can't think of any yellow fountain pens I own (I do have a yellow Lamy Safari, but it's a rollerball).
Hmmm, I never noticed that before! ....I do love colourful pens so I'm kind of shocked by this as I find yellow to be a very cheery colour

(edit: I lied!---I have a yellow Sheaffer NoNonsense FP, and yellow & blue swirly Bexley 10th Anniversary FP )

Great review and awesome-looking Aurora Talentum! I don't have a Talentum myself, just an Ipsilon and Optima, but the next Aurora I get will have a factory italic nib on it, for sure. I really like Aurora nibs and I've read that they make their own nibs.
As a matter of fact, there is a great video showing how the Aurora makes the Optima model here:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMQ6oDoFE3w

It was a segment on the Canadian (ahem ) television show "How It's Made" that was filmed inside the Aurora factory in Italy
