Cool Octopus Write and Draw Ink - Blue Chameleon

Octopus Write and Draw Ink - Blue Chameleon

After reviewing so many inks, it's rare that I get excited about an ink or a new brand. This is one of them. I’ve been tempted to procure a bottle.
It's a gorgeous grey blurple, well lubricated that I enjoyed writing in all nibs but the Japanese Ef, Kakuno. it transformed the needle tip of Osmiroid into a dream nib.

It's a pigment ink, light fast, waterproof and has all the ISO accreditations you would want.

Please note like most pigment inks, it's best using it in a well sealed pen and preferably not your expensive pens.
You can read more about it:

and the complete line of 38 inks:

    Let's start with the chroma:

Yazeh, you're tempting me with this one; I've been thinking about a waterproof ink that isn't Baaaad Green Gator, for watercolor drawings. This might be dark enough.

Lovely sketches, too! Mousie and Kitteh seem to be getting along well with their new friend. Thanks so much for reviewing these specialized inks!
My other pen is a Montblanc.

Thanks for the inktroduction, Yazeh! I do believe I'm going to have to try this one. I've found it at Vanness and added it to my list of inks to sample toward the end of next year...

Love the water test sketch, Kitty eyeing Monsieur Chameleon while Mousey protects himself from falling ash. And you show off the ink's depth very well in both writing and your "tiny artwork". Great review, as always!

Not too well this evening, but I wanted to make sure to say thank you for such a lovely review. I'm also becoming increasingly enamoured of this line of inks, but hadn't yet looked at this one, and I like it a lot.

I do so appreciate all the work that goes into these, and I love the artwork as always!

I pray you feel better and thank you for your support.
Like you, I've been impressed by all inks I've so far reviewed. I thought I liked this one until I tested violet giraffe ...
    Stay tuned
