bright blue ink suitable for Extra fine nib fountain pen

Hi all,
Simply looking for a good ink recommendation for an extra fine (0.4mm) nib fountain pen.

Ideally a bright/light blue or Turquoise (a blue that stands out clearly next to black); i.e. Parker standard blue is a bit too dark.

I'm asking because i've not used extra-fine nib before and have concerns about flow.

Any advice greatly appreciated,

Aurora Blue or Montblanc Royal Blue, if you want a basic problem-free ink without over-saturation, sheen or sparkles.

Thanks @FredRydr will check it out.. Also, Turquoise suggestions would be welcome (just found a nice Turquise pen with EF nib)

One more completely seperate question: I keep all my fountain pens in a jar and use them all once a week in a flurry of note writing. Should i store them nib up or nib down position? (or does not matter)

You will want an ink with good lubrication :

Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-Peki or Ama-iro
Sailor Manyo Sumire
Kuretake Shimbashi-iro
...
Pelikan Edelstein Topaz (eventually)

You should store your inked pens nib up or laying horizontally.

I've been doing a series of ink reviews using a Japanese EF nib, which is (depending on the ink) about .1mm finer than your desired size. Thus, anything that works well there will almost certainly work well in your nib. I've shared a spreadsheet of my inks with ink review results (for those reviewed) and links to the reviews. You can sort and filter based on color and lubrication and find the best inks for you. I don't distinguish between blue and turquoise - they're all listed under "blue". I have to run right now, but can answer questions later if you have any.

I really like Pilot Kon-Peki @ Lithium466, but it's a bit pricey, so think will go for Robert Oster great southern ocean from @LizEF's very comprehensive list.

Great Southern Ocean can be quite dark from an EF nib, FYI. I recommend sampling if you can. That said, I love that ink.

I really like Waterman Serenity Blue and find it quite wet, that would suit an EF nib .

From what I've seen, Kon Peki is a lot lighter and a very different shade - but I've never seen it in person.

Good blues that are bright enough in an EF nib to distinguish from black (the ones in bold have better than average lubrication; all have at least average which should be good enough with FP-friendly paper):

* De Atramentis Steel Blue (leans turquoise, but not)
* Any of the Royal Blues: Kaweco, Montblanc, Waterman Serenity Blue, Pilot Blue.
* Noodler's Baystate Blue (not that I recommend it)
* Pelikan 4001 Turquoise (though I haven't tested it in an EF yet)
* Pilot Iroshizuku Asa-gao (nice and bright)
* Robert Oster Blue Sea or School Blue or Blue Denim
* Visconti Blue (good alternate to Baystate Blue)
* Waterman Inspired Blue (turquoise)

Horizon Blue and Caribbean Blue (turquoise)....

Lamy Pacific is a turquoise (but there are a LOT of inks in this exact shade). I think of it as my happy color.

For a good true blue sort of blue, I am very pleased with Scribe Indigo which is a Parker Penman Sapphire dupe.

Lamy Pacific is a turquoise (but there are a LOT of inks in this exact shade). I think of it as my happy color.

It's been said that Lamy Pacific is just Lamy Turquoise by another name. If this is true, then it doesn't have good lubrication for an EF nib. Better to go with one of the many other standard turquoise inks, but one with better lubrication.

Waterman Inspired Blue is a bright, cheerful, robin's egg turquoise blue. Here's a sample writ with a $2.99 "Dollar" demonstrator. I haven't tried it in an EF nib, but I strongly suspect it would behave nicely in one.
Other turquoise-like inks I own that look beautiful and behave nicely are Lamy Turquoise, Diamine Havasu Turquoise, and Monteverde Capri Blue.

Kon-Peki is a nice choice, but I would also look at Noodler's Baltimore Canyon Blue...
