They seem to be in a pickle, the inktober guys. Not only they didn't remove, remove, the posted Polar again, instead of Waffle the new prompt. I'm still recouping from October Inktober
catbert (November 14th, 2024), forester (November 15th, 2024), Lloyd (November 15th, 2024), Sailor Kenshin (November 19th, 2024)
My humble suggestion, forget that particular prompt source, in this age of AI it's very easy to create and tailor 52 (or 31 for October) prompts.
Here's what Gemini gave me after 1 prompt and 2 refinements:
Forest, chair, child, happiness, run.
River, table, adult, sadness, jump.
Mountain, vase, man, anger, dance.
Sunset, lamp, woman, fear, song.
Sunrise, book, couple, surprise, reading.
Tree, pen, family, confusion, writing.
Flower, pencil, friend, excitement, drawing.
Bird, phone, stranger, calm, painting.
Butterfly, computer, artist, peace, meal.
Sky, camera, musician, joy, drink.
Cloud, clock, dancer, sleep, work.
Rain, watch, athlete, run.
Snow, cup, worker, jump.
Moon, bowl, dance.
Star, plate, song.
There you are, set for 2025.
Next year, tell Gemini (or whatever other GenAI systems are available then) to exclude these words, and generate another 52.
Rinse and repeat.
Thanks Will, I'll keep it in mind. I'm attached to Inktober more for sentimental reasons. It's where I was inspired to sketch/draw/experiment and connect with likeminded people
Polar
Two penguins visiting the arctic to be refused entrance by two Narwhals... or maybe they are two busy role playing Star Wars or .....
Note: Penguins are native to Antarctica, Narwahls to the Arctic.

I share your sentiment, Yazeh.
Also, this close to the end — might as well finish. So …

This one was from before, September. I had the idea but inktober hit and didn't have time to work it out.
Herbin: Turquoise de Perse, Rue de la Verrerie, Lie de Thé,
Sailor Mixed Red, Noodler's Lexington Gray
Octopus White Polar Bear
Finally they've fixed the list and removed 'remove'.

---INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO.47 IS “TRAIN”
This prompt suggestion comes from our friend @ingisnakeface
Whether you focus on the mechanical beauty of locomotives, the discipline of practice and “training,” or a metaphorical journey of progress, let this prompt challenge and inspire you in new ways. This prompt might feel familiar—yes, we used this prompt four years ago—revisiting past ideas is a powerful way to reflect on your artistic growth. What’s changed in your style, technique, or perspective since then? Grab your pens and let's see where this creative ride takes you!
I have thoughts about the recurrence of prompts but first I need to catch up with the backlog.

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
A: Yes it is!
M: No it isn't!

This week’s prompt is CORNUCOPIA—a symbol of abundance, overflowing with the fruits of effort and imagination. Let it remind us that creativity, like a cornucopia, holds endless potential. What will you fill yours with? Dream big, draw bold, and share your work with the world!
catbert (November 28th, 2024)
I have to admit the concept of cornucopia was foreign to me. And while I saw the images, and read about the concept, it still doesn't click.
