I did a little update of my original sketch

I also thought of Moon River but it hardly seemed fair to depict Audrey as a pig or a wolf (such are the constraints of trying to keep an arbitrary theme going) …

Well, I'm sure you can draw a "pretty" wolf or pig. It would be a nice challenge. Plus wolves are quite handsome
In one of my draft ideas, I was planning to have the "Audrey" character sitting on the moon with a wolf howling to the moon.

I gave up trying to get pigs to row convincingly. I see now why Ernest Shepard gave Piglet such long arms.

A favorite book, although I never saw Montmorency the dog as quite so threatening. There's the episode where he is thoroughly intimidated by a cat.

both together make a story. a cruel story, but still…

… Unless they got bored and jumped in the water and swam away. It's a great openingfor a mystery/ crime series. The wolf wakes up with three floating hats and pig coast guard surrounding the boat. He's the prime suspect, has he been framed?

Certainly the circumstantial evidence doesn’t look good for Wolfie. I hope an innocent explanation will be possible. Let’s see what the next prompts permit …

I think you captured it. I love the dreamlike quality — like Chagall.

It was meant to be a straw boater, to match some vaguely Victorian striped blazers. I always find hats challenging (in paper and reality).

These things sometimes have a life of their own. Wolfie was meant to be more oblivious than threatening, though the pigs were naturally wary. Then the hats in the water (which started as a lazy way to keep the reference to three pigs without actually drawing them) implied something more sinister. We’ll have to see where the narrative stream carries them next …

I was reading the lyrics of the song, it's seems like you subconsciously have drawn the song:

I attempted sketching an anthropomorphic wolf, with the "moon river" theme with the chorus singing/ howling to the moon
It's harder than I thought

However, it seems that despite my efforts, the Wolf is more George Peppard than Audrey Hepburn. What do you think?

The paper is Fabriano not suited for ink washes

I don't know if I managed to do a Miss Wolf this time.
