    Default Mystery Inks #57, #58 and #59

It's almost Easter and with it comes wonderfully colored eggs and inks!

Mystery Inks is now open to FPG veterans, n00bs, newbies, and lurkers. You volunteer, I send free ink, you write with it and post your thoughts and observations. Guessing is welcome, but not required. There is nothing to "win" aside from perhaps personal satisfaction that you recognized it. No guess is confirmed until the mystery ink is finally revealed. The point of the Mystery Ink threads is an unbiased review. Fear not about the quality of your handwriting or sketching abilities. We don't care. We are all appreciative of those with the gift of artistic ability, but how well you draw or write doesn't impact your ability to test an ink and provide your opinion on it.

I will act as the Procurer, Packer, and Post Office Porter. This ink flight will consist of 1 packet containing 3 inks, each vial filled with 3mls of Mystery Ink labeled MI-57, MI-58, and MI-59. There will be 9 packets available and only 2 of the packets will be for overseas participants due to the high cost of postage ( US$18.50 ). If you are international, please let me know. If there are more sign-ups for overseas participants than slots, then I will run a Random Number Generator to pick. As per past tradition, if you are brand new to Mystery Ink you will have a Priority Spot!

The inks in this ink flight are dye based, not pigmented, no shimmer and not iron gall. I don’t use any of the Noodler’s Bay State inks, so there won’t be any in the ink flights I send out.

Post below if you would like to volunteer to receive a free ink flight. I'll leave this open until 12 Noon PDT Tuesday April 2nd.

    All the Best.

Well...I participated in the last one, and it was so much fun I'd like to participate too
But I am "international", so don't pick me if there are other people interested.

And in any case, thank you for these mystery inks challenges!

I'm in as long as it doesn't take the spot of someone new or someone who hasn't done as many.

I highly recommend anyone that hasn't participated in one to do so, it is a lot of fun and you might get to try an ink you may not be able to try normally.

Thank you junglejim for graciously hosting this event

I was able to fit Sailor Kenshin and Chrissy in since they posted *BEFORE* I began processing the samples for Mystery Inks.

All Ink Flights have now been dropped off with the Owls and are on their way!

    Enjoy!

*** Just as a kindly reminder, please do not post any reviews of your Mystery Inks until after the International Participants have received their Ink flights. Part of the fun of Mystery Inks is finding out what colors have arrived. Many Thanks! ***

Due to the horrendous weather system hitting the East Coast of the US, I have been informed the the Owls are having a hard time flying to their destinations, so Ink Flights may arrive a day or two late.

I am covered in inkstains, NOT, I repeat, not at all due to the packaging, which arrived airtight and in ship-shape. But because the pen I loaded thought that spewing ink all over me would be a fun adventure.

It's in the hospital now. 😜

I'm using my three pens as much as possible trying to use up the ink (2 I refilled right before the mystery ink posting went up), but I am literally righting lists or whatever for no reason so I can empty those pens and get them inked with the mystery ink. I will probably be a little behind, but I'm pushing as hard as I can to be able to get started.
