Re: Montblanc Meisterstueck 144 for review
Well looks like the seller did not like that it sold for what it did on eBay before I could even pay they canceled the order making up some BS excuse that they don't ship to a PO box or APO. I have never ever had anything shipped to a PO box or APO. More epray (bleep).

Re: Montblanc Meisterstueck 144 for review
Seller is a scam artist. The pen sold for 103 and they did not like the price. Their user name is penandbeyond. They are very rude and I have never done any business with them and they said something about sending me an invoice to my home and that something looked odd like a PO or APO. Its obvious they are just scamming to get a higher price.

don't buy a Montblanc on ebay or you'll be forever wondering if it is a fake. Buy it at a pen swap/show/meet if you really need to have an MB to survive 😊

Re: Montblanc Meisterstueck 144 for review
I've bought several genuine Montblanc pens on ebay. As long as you know exactly what to look for and who to buy from you're OK. And even if there should come a time when someone scams you and sends a different pen, you get all of your money back from ebay. No problem.

The pen in the pictures is an authentic Montblanc Meisterstuck Classique or 144

Re: Montblanc Meisterstueck 144 for review
The seller changed his mind and sold me the pen. I have no idea why he would think I was at an APO or PO box. But the pen is slated to be delivered tomorrow. So ends the saga. You do have to be much more careful on eBay with all the Chinese faking going on. But you can still get some deals if you look.

Re: Montblanc Meisterstueck 144 for review
I bought a used 149, maybe, 30/40 years ago in a shop in Milan, Italy
I was given a 144 Bordeaux by my uncle and the black one, also given by him, was stolen with my computer bag on a train, in Rome.
I bought a Danish Coral Red from a reputable German seller, online, and a '50s (?) 234 1/2 on ebay.
For these last two I had the help of an MB collector to give the go ahead 😊👍🏻
These last two do not have Chinese copying them afaik

Re: Montblanc Meisterstueck 144 for review
The CHICOMS fake everything. The Parker 51 they copied and called the Hero 619 if I remember correctly was such a good knock off that the chicoms knocked off the knock off. I have Morgan silver dollars that are hard to tell if you are not used what to look for. There is not much they don't fake. The current Rolex 1:1s are getting very good.
