    Default Custom Envelope Question

Do any of you that make your own envelopes that are not a solid color have a better solution to the addressing problem than this?

'bout the only solution I can see so that it is legible and acceptable by the Post Office.

If you don't mind a bit of extra scalpel work and fiddling about, you can recycle a window from an old envelope thus:

In this case I attempted to make the pattern continuous by writing the address on draughting film (3 or 4 layers to make it semi-opaque), and then using the cutout from the main envelope as a background. Semi successful at best, and it doesn't show up too well in the photo because of blurring the address out.

I love using old postal labels. If you can't find any you can print this sheet of mine out on your printer and paste them on your envelopes.

So the front of the envelope is not as cluttered, I opt to put my return address on the back of the envelope, sometimes.
