Generally said to mean assembled in Parker's Toronto, Canada factory. As I recall there is some debate over weather the parts themselves were made in Toronto or possibly made in Janesville USA, then shipped to Toronto and assembled into pens for shipment to the UK as a way around tariffs. Canada being part of the Commonwealth and all.

Oh, and the 7 would be for the year, 1947.

That's my understanding, others may chime in to correct me.

    Regards,

    Rick

Internet lore aside, take the T6 and T7 markings to mean some parts (likely only the barrel) were mane in a factory (likely Toronto) that was not in Wisconsin. Though additional research is required to find the smoking gun, assume the Wisconsin line was tooled for other production parts causing a production log jamb on the 51 assembly line. If one thinks critically about what Janesville was upto things make more sense, though we lack definitive evidence for the reasons at this time.

The explanation in the 51 book is most likely incorrect.
