Making a list of all mini pens with gold nibs

Dear brothers and sisters of the good fountain pen world,
I collect smaller pens that are described as pocket pens or compact mini pens, and I am trying to put together a list of all such pens which are around 4.5 inches in length and have a 14K (or above) gold nib. I have in my collection the following babies (and several others, including many vintage lever fillers / ring tops / button fillers which I did NOT include in this list below) and I am wondering what else I can add to my collection! I have few pens that are on the border line of being considered mini, but they are not exactly mini - example Pilot stargazer. Kindly advise what else you think can be added ...

Some Kaweco Sport pens can come with gold nibs or you can swap one in yourself.

As Chrissy pointed out, Kaweco offers gold nibs for their Sport.

Not sure where you're getting "OMAS Extra Black Mini" from. Omas has long made a "Dama" size, with a clip or ring top, in various materials.

While it is obviously and totally up to you. That statement restricts your choices.

Relaxing that constraint will allow you to explore vintage pens that fit your criteria. The ringtop subset alone is a subject to a collection in itself.

OMAS Dama would fit...
But in my opinion, the perfection of mini pens was OMAS in the pre-war. The little Extra pens--facetted or round, greek key, roller clip and STUNNING celluloids--are unparalleled as writers and pieces of design. They are actually normal girth, which gives them an adorable and beautiful stoutness and practicality. Not easy to find. But really on their own plane.

Best thing about the Dama is that nobody really wants them, so the prices are not that high - even for the fancier celluloid.

I bought a $25 lot of parts pens on eBay to get a Kaweco Sport piston shaft, but this was in box too.

Waterman's Lady Agathe and some of the other Lady pens came with gold nibs; the nibs are interchangeable between the various Lady series. Very nice little pens, the Agathe and Elsa series being made of vintage materials (galalithe and celluloid I think).

That is so sweet. I have never seen one like it. Would it be hard to repair?

I mean if we're including vintage pens (not what the OP said they are focusing on), you can get quite a bit of nice ringtops with gold nibs without specifically looking for or collecting them.



Took this photo a few years ago when I realized how many ringtops I gathered where they are not the main reason for the purchase. Some of them are just build so well like the Conklin Endura and the Gold Bond.

Addressing some questions asked --- I acquired a beautiful OMAS Extra short size pen and ignorantly called it 'mini'. I was not aware that the correct term is "Dama". I am aware of the Kaweco models such as V12G. Missed it, good input. Did not know about Waterman lady pens - good input. I can't locate the post but someone had shared information about Sailor minis with pictures - Slim mini and mini --- was not aware that there were different minis. Thanks for the pictures shared, but let's keep vintage minis out of the scope for now -- there are countless and hence the exclusion. Can we add some more to the list. Thank you for your time.

There's Franklin-Christoph's pocket 20 LINK. A wide assortment of steel and gold options - although it's a shame the days of the custom Masuyama grinds (on-hand even!) are gone.

Still, some nice material options - with or without clip - in a 'homage to Kaweco-Sport' format.

I am aware of the Kaweco models such as V12G. Missed it, good input.

The V12 is 60's era, and the V17 is 70's. Out of the running perhaps if you stick to contemporary.

Modern cartridge filled Sports that use a Bock 060 come in a variety of materials, and have a gold option.

Another that just came to mind from is Delta's Dolce Vita Mini. There's a lot of variety for short pens.

There's also the Stipula Passaporto/Passport. Did they make any with gold nibs?

Mini pens by Ensso, Gravitas, Namisu, Schon take standard Bock or Jowo nibs that could be swapped out for gold nibs.
