    Please indulge my ignorance.
Iron-gall based Mont Blanc Blue Black
I have some, too. I haven't a clue to how it's holding up, though.
I suspect Montblanc was generous with additives. It's the only iron gall ink I've used over the decades that maintains consistency and doesn't precipitate out. (I should buy that bottle from which I linked the photo, but I have too much ink as it is.)

I was going to say no, not anymore; but then Fred posted MBBB-IG... so yeah.

I miss the Blackstone inks that went bye-bye during the Great Global Lockdown. I've always been a sucker for certain hues and shades of greenish blue, and Blackstone seemed to know how to hit the exact right notes.

At one point early on in my pen avocation I recognized that I couldn't have all the inks I might be interested in, so decided I could at least have one bottle from each of the makers. (& who doesn't want one of those bottles from Akkerman, right?). So that's a guideline I started following.

    Foolish me.

Sigh. And then FredRyder's thread "Never again - red ink in a vintage plunger-filler" reminded me that Omas Sepia is now (and has been for some time) unobtainium. For some reason, once an ink becomes unobtainium, my lust for it increases tenfold. Wah!

I think that at least partially falls under the stigma of FOMO [Fear Of Missing Out].

I think it's more a matter of the sheer perversity of human nature.
