This is a very, very wet, hot pink/fuchsia. It has the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
Surprisingly, it’s very well behaved on copy paper. I was disappointed when I saw the UEF/Ef/F and flex nibs had bled through Iroful paper. The worse was the flex nib. The colour lightens, the broader the nib. There is minimal shading, even on Iroful.

Ink has no water resistance but as it's pink, it's a pain to clean

There is a hint of gold sheen when applied liberally on paper.

If you like wet inks, flashy colours, and dream of rubies, this is for you

· Pens used: Lamy (Reverse EF/F/M/B,) Kanwrite Flex.
· What I liked: A wet ink that can be well behaved on copy paper.
· What I did not like: The colour is too loud; ink is too wet
· What some might not like: Too wet, colour, not suitable for a wet pen.
· Shading: Minimal.
· Ghosting: Minimal on cheap paper. UEF/Ef/F/Flex nibs on Iroful
· Bleed through: Very faint, though. UEF/Ef/F/Flex nibs on Iroful
· Flow Rate: Very wet
· Lubrication: Good.
· Nib Dry-out: Did not notice.
· Start-up: Ok
· Saturation: Zowie!
· Shading Potential: Dismal.
· Sheen: Faint gold sheen on heavy application.
· Spread / Feathering / Woolly Line: Did not notice.
· Nib Creep / “Crud”: Did not notice.
· Staining (pen): No.
· Clogging: Did not notice.
· Cleaning: Pain. Lamy need to be soaked in solution.
· Water resistance: Don’t bother.
· Availability: 30 ml bottles.

I do like a nice hot pink or fuchsia, so this one's pretty good to me. More shading would be nice, though. (I've heard that some professional contractors will paint their tools pink because pink tools are less likely to be stolen from a job site! Go figure.)

I never considered it before, but isn't it strange that pink clings and yet has no water resistance? What's up with that!?

Fitting quotes. That Diamine Hope Pink reminds me of the color of Baskin Robbins Bubblegum ice cream (from the '80s). I doubt the ice cream was actually that color, but for some reason, the swatch reminds me of it. (I took one bite of the ice cream and nearly puked. The rest went straight into the trash. ) Hmm. Maybe it's the color of Pepto, too... :/

I'm imagining lasers shooting from swatch-kitty's ruby eyes.

Oh dear! Poor water-test kitty. Washed completely away while mousey stands by thinking, "glad it wasn't my turn!".

I like your ballerina drawing. I'm imagining it's Mousetor Borge at the piano. The ballerina will soon be very frustrated, but the audience will be rolling in the aisles.

Yes, this is, well, not so much pink as what I call fuschia. Not one of my beloved colors, alas, and the chroma is Eeek!

I have the J Herbin Rouge Opera, use it sometimes. I don't think it's wet...JH tends toward dryness.

Yazeh, those are great quotes! And a very pretty drawing. I see that Kitteh is a ballet buff but not an opera fan. 🙀 🎶 (Maybe it's one of those modern atonal things).

I like the colour with Pelargoniums (geraniums), peonies etc. But as ink not so much. I had a lot of difficulty drawing with it. I did another one, with R&K Königsblau, but that's for another review

Thanks @Sailor for all your kind comments. It's not a color I would like as ink, but flowers sure Herbin inks are often wet, but low on lubircation.
The drawing was a spur of moment thing. I realized in retrospect, I was drawing a cross section of a loft, where I was helping with a short film production. Curious how creativity works

You were wiser than I (but then, I was a tween or teen, so by definition, I was stupid). I may start a flame war, but I had a similar reaction to Bisquick pancakes the first time I had them (at a sleep-over; even worse, with commercial syrup). Mom only ever made pancakes and syrup from scratch - thank heaven! (Years later she told me that when we were really little, she used Bisquick, but one Sunday we wanted pancakes and she was out of Bisquick, so she got out the "from scratch" recipe and I guess no one would let her go back. I don't remember it, but I remember I had a good mom. )

That means your taste buds new the good stuff from the bad ones. My Mum was also made stuff from scratch but that was another era
