    Default Markant 65 Exquisit

This is a 1969 Markant 65 Exquisit fountain pen. It is an East German copy of the Parker 61 except is uses a copy of the Parker aerometric filler. It was made by VEB (K) Schreibgerätewerk in Singwitz, Germany. I got it uninked in the box. The only color that came out during cleaning was just a touch of light blue from the “this is your pen writing” (paraphrased) written in the owner’s manual. The manual was stamped 5 January 1969. It is well made. I like it. I am going to ink it and use it.

Note: Yes, that was the Reader's Digest condensed edition. You're welcome.
