The other thing about this ink that I've noticed is that it's a sheen monster! a vibrant red sheen on almost every letter, and on all kinds of paper. Truly remarkable.

Yes. I noticed sheen mostly on Japanese paper. What I liked most is that it both shades and sheens, which makes it very attractive

I've seen it sheen on Japanese paper, French paper, and vintage American onionskin. Lots of red sheen. The only paper I've not seen it sheen on is cheap copy paper.
