As I was thinking of "words" and meanings, I was also drawn back to my copies (I have three) of the Tao Te Ching, and saw this again: "The name that can be named is not the eternal name."

But Pooh was a much better fit for the sunny day (cold tho) here in Maine today.

am I understand things right that Elon Musk wanted a woman expelled from Congress just because she disagreed with him? Is there more to the story?

“DeLauro went a bit further, writing a letter to congressional leaders questioning whether the change to the bill reflected some kind of behind-the-scenes corruption: Perhaps, the Connecticut Democrat alleged, the legislation was tweaked specifically to benefit Musk, who has, as DeLauro put it, “extensive” business interests in China.

It was, to be sure, a provocative allegation. But the billionaire megadonor responded with an online item of his own, calling DeLauro an “awful creature” and saying that he believes the Democratic congresswoman “needs to be expelled from Congress!”

Here’s a start on research, from a non-Trump leaning source. You can dig further yourself.
Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, ranking member of the House Committee on Appropriations, seems to be a polarizing figure herself.

I am surprised you would point me to an MSNBC source. I saw nothing in that article that would justify expelling DeLauro. But maybe there is more to the story.

Alternatively, one could simply view Elon's comment and the video clip that prompted it HERE.

A congressperson voiced an opinion regarding a citizen. A citizen voiced an opinion regarding a congressperson.

    Welcome to democracy.

    It’s a pattern of sourcing to left-leaning sources so left-learners can’t complain.
Is there more? Maybe you might look yourself.

in any case I hope we can agree that someone should not be expelled from Congress just for disagreeing with Musk.

Pam Bondi had her Senate confirmation hearing today and she was asked a simple question: who won the 2020 election Biden or Trump? She answered Biden is the President. Like many Republicans, she refused to give a straight answer to the question. She'll agree Biden is the President, but she won't say which of them won the election. I've heard that answer from Republicans again and again and again. It is a gutless cowardly response. If you think Biden won in 2020 have the guts to say so, if you think the election was stolen and that Trump was the real winner, have the guts say that. They make themselves look ridiculous and idiotic when they refuse to answer the question and just that Biden is the President. Stupid, just stupid.

Funny, the question is a lame attempt at a "gotcha"

it is only a "gotcha" for those either think Biden won and don't have the guts to say so or think the election was stolen and that Trump won and don't have the guts to say that. I'm will to bet that most that answer the question with "Biden is the President" probably think Biden legitimately won but don't want to say because they fear the wrath of Trump.

The Hon. Sheldon Whitehouse realizes he's just indicted the Biden DOJ (at 27 seconds in) echoing

When you are shown Trump, it is not hard to find the crimes. (inciting a riot, trying to overturn an election, sexual assault/harassment, inappropriate pressure on the Georgia governor to find more for votes for Trump, setting up slates of fake electors . . . etc)

Yes, I don’t gamble for real. It was just an expression.
