Help Finding Piston Converter for Sheaffer Stylist Pen

Can anyone please help me? I have a 1966 Sheaffer Stylist fountain pen. It has the cool two-sided nib. I would like to find a piston converter for it. I contacted PenBoutique Store in Maryland and the person I spoke to did not know if the piston converter they sell for Sheaffer would fit. Also, if there is not a converter available, does my pen take the standard ink cartridge available like on Amazon or does it take the international cartridge?

The nib units, i.e. the 180 style VS the "new" (Triumph) style, are interchangeable. I just checked with the later in a pen, and the current production piston converter will work.

Yes the current piston type will work but it's a case of finding one for sale. They disappeared off of the market for a while and I believe they are now made in China. Any Sheaffer converter will fit inside the section.

The question is the length of the inside of the barrel and diameter. The piston converters don't always fit when you expect them to.

Ron, Thanks for the Penhero.com suggestion. I am in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area in northern Virginia. Years ago, you sold me on a Moore pen with "a nib you find only during a blue moon." You also got me hooked on Esterbrook Nib 9461's. Happy holidays!
