Actually, i believe it says NEAR mint. :P
Which is fair--if based on the standard eBay 3-point grading system. (MINT // NEAR MINT// USELESS OVER-PRICED DOG-CRAP.)
Thanks for the laugh! At the bottom they say they do their inspections with the naked eye and not with a magnifying glass...I guess these people walk around seeing a blur all day. They couldn't tell the pen apart from a stick of black licorice.
Given how blurry their photos are I'd guess their eyesight isn't much better. (At least that's what I chose to believe about folks who cannot post a decent auction photo.)

Very unprofessional seller. Harangued me for not agreeing her 'near mint' description in my feedback for another pen: I refused her demands to withdraw my comment ( in what was actually positive fb). Avoid.
