    Default Visconti Power Filler Problem

I have an odd problem with a Visconti pen. This is the Carbon dream, and has a double reservoir power filler.

I had filled up the pen with Montblanc Oyster Grey. After a few days of forcing myself to like the ink, I couldn't convince myself to like it (too dry for my taste). So, I decided to change the ink. I saw nothing out of the ordinary during my flush fills (with plain water) to clear out the remaining ink. When I attempted to fill with Montblanc Toffee Brown, I noticed that the pen wasn't taking up anywhere enough ink -- just enough to fill the front chamber (<0.1mL if I have to guess). Literally, nothin changed except the fluid that I dipped the pen in. No wait time in between flush and inking.

Are there any known issues with Visconti's fill system? Is this repairable? Any known "experts" in repairing Visconti's filling systems?... or do I need to send it back to Visconti / Coles of London?

    Thanks,
    Alper

I have a Carbon Dream and it doesn't fill all the way, but more than you describe.
    I'd send it in.

Thank you for the help and suggestions. It looks like sending it back is the right thing to do.

Hi there, curious if you wound up sending the pen in? What was the experience like? I have a Crystal Dream that refuses

I did send the pen in, but haven't had the repairs completed yet to provide feedback. Link above provides the instructions and form to fill out. About a week after confirmed delivery, I was told that the pen will be sent to Italy and 12 to 16 weeks time for repairs given Christmas break etc.

That was about the same time frame for Aurora repairs returned to Turin and back, via the USA distributor.
