@skip. There's no way any review can tell someone what colour to chose, or all the nuances of a colour: Lighting, pens, papers, and most importantly the person, their tastes, mood and their visual sensitivity to colour. Many people see different colours, when seeing blues for ex.

These reviews are to give a feel of the inks behaviour, sensations on different papers. Afterwards it's up to you to see if the colour is for you or not.

I think the reviews do help choices tho, especially if one were looking for a particular class of color. For instance out of those 5 'browns' in your review there's no way I would choose any for my use other than the Antique Copper! But I certainly understand others could feel very differently about this...
~For me, selecting and liking colors is probably more of a feeling thing than an intellectual process! {And yes, it feels strange sometimes to realize that?} ~?

After a many years, I decided to load a pen with Herbin Lie de Thé. It's a really great ink with very good water resistance.... something Ancient Copper lacks.

M: I came here for a good argument.
A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
    A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
    A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
    A: Yes it is!
    M: No it isn't!

That ink looks a lot like HongDian's Blackish Green that I reviewed here a few months ago.

I like your handwriting; it's classic cursive style, neat and easy to read! Fancy calligraphy style swirls are fun to do, but if someone else has to read it??? ~Nah... I think I'll work on improving my cursive so it looks more like this! ~After all, it's the penmanship I was taught in K-6 grade school back when public schools still considered it important to learn this...

I've also been trying to find comparison inks for all 3 MI's. I haven't found many comparisons for MI#63 yet.

I have just spotted that I'm the only person who hasn't yet posted my comments for MI#65 so here they are. All good with no problems. It's a really nice ink to write with on both of the papers I used : Tomoe River 52gsm and Rhodia clic bloc. I think it's either KWZ Grapefruit or Orange. Maybe it's a bit less red then Grapefruit.

Wonderful reviews by all the participants! I just wanted to let you know that the Ink Reveals will be on Sunday 16 February at 12 Noon PST. That will be 2 weeks since the last person received their Ink Flight. If anyone needs more time, please PM me and we can extend the date.

    All the Best.
