    Default Kaweco 475N

My piles of pens are starting to run together, so I just redid a pen that I had already done here.

I did notice that the pen cleaned up easily, but I did not notice anything strange about the nib. I guess that I did a pretty good job of straightening it out last time. After I reassembled the nib unit it did take a lot of effort to get the tines properly aligned again. The EF line was a little skippy within the lines that it put down. That was from some pitting on the tipping. After I took care of that it now writes very well and also has actual flex. So this is another solidly build German piston filler with a flexy SS EF nib. It is a little on the small side and yet another boring black pen.

    Hi Jeph,

    Well done.

I am not sure what the pen looked like when you got it but wow it is extremely clean now. Glad to hear that it writes well now with a flexible nib. Congratulations.

From your comment of being a black pen now I understand why you look for other colours in fps.
