The numbering system for the pens is interesting. For YoL marked pens the clip is numbered and goes from 0001 to 9999 then starts over. Since they never make that many pens in a year the clip number and year code always identify a unique pen. Some special label pens may even use only a three digit series.
I want one (the grand victorian), but am worried about the potential for tarnish on the silver. Do their pens tarnish?
Yup, tarnish is part of the charm of silver, and using it will cut down on tarnish seriously. Polishing silver is one of my favorite zen moments.

Current pen rotation: way too many!
At little tarnish can give the pen surface some charicture which is nice on some of my other sterling silver pens...
Purchased a YOL millennium and it arrived today.... I'll be posting a few pictures... here it is with my other YOLs
