Wow that suck's, did the pen actually go to Pelikan in Germany or just a third party repair agent.

I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. I am in the US and so Chartpak is the authorized repair center here for Pelikan. It was always my understanding that Stone Marketing was the UK equivalent and were generally well regarded. Is this who contacted you in England? Regardless, the service was not carried out to your satisfaction so you should definitely contact Pelikan informing them of the situation and see how they choose to make amends. Definitely don't leave it as is since you spent so much money. It's a headache and a hassle for you, I know, but you're still entitled to an appropriate repair. Your experience is very atypical from what I have heard of Pelikan's service. I myself have had good experiences and I hope that this one experience doesn't paint the entire brand in a bad light for you for all time.

Why withdraw the OP, did you get a Cease and Desist not from Pelikan.
