What does "Rep Power" mean?
What does "Rep Power" mean?
No idea.

Other people can add to your rep power if they believe you are contributing something of value to the forum. It is that star icon next to the thanks button. They can take away too.

I've given reps to quite a few folk and it acknowledges that I did so but it never seems to register.
Does this mean that the one with the highest rep is FPGeeks' royalty?

So what is seen on the left of a post called Rep Power = how many times you have given a post rep power?
From the FAQ:
How much reputation is given? What is reputation power?
If the administrator has enabled this, the amount of reputation that each user will give (or take away if negative) is shown in the user's posts as 'Reputation Power'. The value of the reputation power is determined by the administrator and may increase over time depending on the settings they have applied.

i think I got it. Every time someone increases your reputation, it gives you a certain amount of points towards an increase in rep power. It looks like only Dan knows what that value is and you go up in levels. This, in turn, corresponds to the green bars that also go up by a value that only the admin knows. Well at least that is the way I think it works.
