Default something interesting happening with my Twsbi 580

It's slightly annoying, but not really a problem. When this pen has been sitting unused for a few days when I use it again it writes a thin watery washed out line. This goes away after a word or two. It is almost like the ink in the feed is separating when left unused. This has not happened with any of my other pens. They either write or don't write. The ink I am using is Lamy blue. I was thinking it might be because of the weird cold night time temperatures we have been getting here. At least cold for this part of the world.

Is there any evidence of condensation in the cap or feed area? When was the last time the pen was thoroughly cleaned? Was it completely dried?

    only thoughts I can offer

I'm thinking condensation, but that almost never happens here.

have had the condensation occur on me with this pen and it was suggested to me that perhaps I did not dry the nib completely - the recommendation was to remove the nib section - I break down the nib and feed from the nib unit - clean it thoroughly and dry with a paper towel or tissue - could even hit the feed with canned air for a computer. Then reassemble - mine turned out to be I had not dried it properly

    Hope this helps
