    Default January tray of pens

    1. Conklin Crescent S5 in MHR $1325. Has a new sac. Some marks on the cap, the crescent ring is BHR instead of MHR, rear imprint worn, rubber oxidized, and it has a 6 nib.

    2. Lamy Safari stickered Savannah $500. Inner-cap needs to be replaced.

    3. Parker 51 black Double Jewel with Sterling cap $285. Unrestored, cap has a few very tiny pin spots, blind cap has a small ding, blind cap tassie isn't perfect, the hood has a horrible scratch in it and should be replaced. This pen is a bit of an oddity, as it has aluminum jewels on the cap and blind cap, the blind cap has a first year imprint (no date), plastic plunger, but the body of the pen has a 1st quater 47 date code: see here.

    4. Parker 51 grey Double Jewel 'first year', with Sterling cap $265. Blind cap imprint, aluminum blind cap jewel, and speedline plunger. Unrestored, two small dings on the cap, minor marks on the body and blind cap, blind cap imprint almost gone.

    5. Parker 51 grey Double Jewel 'first year', with gold filled cap $325. First year cap with two squigly lines and two straight lines with gold filled content marked at the top, cap has aluminum jewel, speedline plunger. Unrestored, blind cap imprint even less legible than the previous pen, small ding to cap, color a bit darker under the cap, a few scratches on the body.

6, 7, 8. Parker vacumatic lot $150, all of them are unrestored. The green vac has some marks on the section.
    Sold.

    9. Sheaffer PFM I in burgundy $185. Restored. A few marks on the cap.

    10. Waterman 7 ripple with red nib $350. Has a new sac. Cap band and clip ball are brassed. The Lever has a bit of corrsion/brassing. Imprints are weak but legible. Nib is rather flexible but has a bit of tooth.

11, 12. Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal Flat-top Soldier Clip set in rosewood, $265. Has a new sac. Nib is marked medium, flexible goldseal; it is a personal point. The lever has a small bend in it and a touch of brassing. The pencil has a bit of wear on the body from the clip ball and the lead has to manually repelled.
