cuppa coffee #3.
More Kona this morning. I got hit from all sides at the office this morning and I am just getting my first cup.

ugh. I'd have killed somebody by now. Here's a post I wrote elsewhere on how I like to brew, maybe somebody here will like it.
Nice read. Been there and done that. Thankfully, my youngest has been past the waking in the middle of the night phase for about 2 years now. They still jump in the bed early Saturday morning. That can get dangerous. For me sometimes.
I've been wanting to get one of those cone paper things. I am getting tired of cleaning the french press.

they probably have them at your grocery store. they cost maybe $3 or so.
Ice water, loaded with ice. I rarely drink anything else. How boring is that?
Coffee batch #1 for the day... been lazy lately on weekday morning, the beans have gone stale anyway, so I ground them last night and set up the drip machine on a timer so it was ready when I got up. Not the best coffee, but I have been too lazy/tired in the morning lately to deal with other methods. When things calm down a bit I will be going back to making everything fresh each morning and using an aeropress.
A large mug of hot Asam(sessa) Tea.
Running low on Kona. Will have to see what bean I am in the mood for next week.

not drinking, but eating VEGEMITE!!!!!!!! Oh god, it was the worst thing in my life! It starts out tasting O.K, but after 3 seconds, it is terrible... And some australians here, explain how it ever sells there??!! I could barely take a dip of it without nearly loosing my lunch!

Yikes! Gulp down a beer to cleanse the palette
well....a drink of some kind for sure!!! I drank a lot of water to cleanse, but I still couldn't finish my lunch!
I prefer Marmite but only very thinly spread on the bread or biscuit with butter or margarine.
Don't spread it on thick like peanut butter otherwise it will taste like the tar used to surface roads ! And probably just as good for you too.
Melita Blue Mountain style medium roast coffee. A coffee actually produced in Germany.

FP Kid, I spread it too thick when I first tried it and almost died. Then I met an Australian bloke who told me the right way to do it. Follow Bogon's advice, use some butter, and paint the Vegemite over it in a thin, thin, layer. (Or as the guy explained it to me, a "theen, theen, layya".) You will love it, and turn to it again and again for a B-vitamin rush! I have also tried the Marmite, but I prefer the Vegemite. Don't get anyone from Australia started on which is better, though, unless you have a week or so to spare.
I paid close attention to the label this morning and it is actually Promite not Marmite !!! So you've a choice of three if you are really daring.
Tonight's wine was Tolly's Watercolour Cabernet Merlot Vintage 2009.
Ok wine I was drawn to the bottle by the very artistic blue W which reminds me of the Goulet's inkblot logo with a touch of purple too.
