I think sky knows that if she lays like this. Little Cleatus will clean her ears. He'll clean her entire face with his tongue. The other places are really not opprpriate so I won't go into them

For my pen pals, meet mr skunk. Ralph is some sort of terrier mutt. Mr skunk has been been sprayed by skunks 7 times. He got sprayed this past September. He's got a thing for skunks, can't leave them alone.

They are both adorable. What do you do when mr skunk gets sprayed? Does a plain bath take care of it?

Nice to put a face with a name! Ralph the Intrepid Hassler of Skunks!

Is that Pepe looking on suspiciously from the back?

I worked at a vet clinic for several years, we recommended a bath of baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and dish soap mixed in water.

Thanx, that's good to know. I don't think there are any skunks in N. Florida, but you never know.

That's the best treatment. The key is to apply to dry fur. Skunk spray is oil and spreads with water. Apply mixture to dry fur and wait 30 minutes. Then wash off and use doggie soap. After that....fumigate your house and nose. Ugh.

Yes that's Pepe being bossy. Ralph and Pepe love each other very much. But Pepe is the boss. Both are making a fuss of my mom on her couch. They have her wrapped around their paws.

That is a great picture. The trexx deck is pretty nice, too.

We just brought this guy home. A surprise Christmas present for Ashley (and me). We found out about Moose (was Maurice at the pound) last night from my in-laws. Went down this morning to visit him and fill out an application. We got the call this afternoon that he was ours! He's currently exhausted and trying to take up as much space in the kitchen as he can. The cats are slowly coming around to him, and he's not trying to chase them which is good!
