Thank you . Lately all he wants to do is.....go on a run....chase the fox....and cuddle. I'm guessing he's mellowing out.

Here's mr Bentley. He is making big positive changes and is a wonderful dog. Only took 2 years.

This is my devoted companion, my protector, and my comedian. She is a year old now. She is a handful. (but what a sweetie!) She is 1/2 GSD, and 1/2 Aussie.

All these dogs are so cute! I have wanted one for an age, but with my two cats, it would be a challenge. The real challenge, though, is that I don't feel that right now we are at home enough to do justice to the dog. But when I retire, we are getting one (or two).

In the UK there are many dogs abandoned at this time of year. As a family we help a Springer Spaniel rescue by fundraising and fostering dogs (Google NESSR).
Due to various health issues we have not been able foster any dogs recently.

I know get to the point Michael.
When we heard there were two Spaniels in a pound who were going to be put to put to sleep in the week before Christmas the Lady who runs the rescue dispatched her husband on a 300 mile round trip to save them.

One of the dogs went to Scotland and the other came to us as there is a possibility that she may be "in pup" or has very recently had a litter she has had a scan which was inconclusive so she will go back after the holidays. The vet did say she has had a lot of pups she has possibly had a litter for sale at Christmas and then been abandoned.

She had no name so that was our next task we decided on Holly which we felt appropriate so did the other fosterers as both dogs are now called Holly they are hundreds of miles apart so it will not matter.

Bluesea--That dog's ears suggest a great deal of character (of one kind or another). What's his (or her) name?

Thanks! Her name is Mele (Hawaiian for song). She is about 8yo, and is good at catching a small frisbee. Doesn't like water though--not like my other dog, Momi (pearl -- long O), missed very much.

This is my Wheaten Terrier named Buddy. Buddy lives up to the Wheaten Terrier reputation as clown dogs. We had BBQ and corn on the cob and Buddy loves both. He eats it off the cob just like a person does. All my dogs over the years have loved corn on the cob including my Keeshond and Shiloh Shepherd.

    In his favorite sleeping position.

Deciding where next to nibble the corn.

Cleaning the corn cob like someone mowing a lawn.
