    Thanks Carl
Little jack lost his eye when his mother sat on him then the breeder was unable to sell him and put him into rescue, he was taken ill within hours of arriving here and spent a week in the vets very poorly.
All of this never stopped him for long within a few weeks he had a new home and is doing very well.

    Thanks

    I'll play!

Our rescue collie, Sasha. She's 9 months old and a pure delight. When she isn't chewing up her bed or getting into something even worse cause she's bored. She was found at 12 weeks of age by a friend, starving, dehydrated, couldn't stand up. But she could smile and wag. Now she's the protector of the flock (IE me, my husband, our other dog, and anyone else she can see must be kept together and protected!). She played nurse while I was sick this week. So smart, so focused, so people oriented. We're lucky to have her.

And this is Bogie. Otherwise known as Herr Flick of the Gestapo! He thinks he's in charge of everything and everyone and he gets really bossy if things don't go his way. He's also very, very dumb. But very sweet.

He was not impressed with the puppy when she came home, now... Awwww!

We have Gus; so named because we knew that he was going to be humongous. He was a rescue (like all of our animals). He likes to eat toothbrushes, razors (disposable and electric), kitchen towels, and our wooden-handled steak knives.

This is what Gus looked like soon after we brought him home.
    Attachment 9406

This is what Gus looks like now. At 3.5 years old and 100#, he still likes to snuggle.

Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

Well, our dog has discovered another savory treat. One of the kids left our bathroom closet open and Gus decided to open and eat half a bar of Irish Spring.

Honestly, I've no idea what his fascination is with devouring non-edibles. He has plenty of toys, gets plenty of attention, and is quite well fed. The Princess says that he has Pica, and needs psychiatric counseling
