O, dear, this is really my topicI am the proud owner of no less than 8 Maine Coon cuties! They really are quite taken by everything that has some sort of ink on it, whether it is the newspaper or my letters...so mostly I do my letterwriting in a separate room, in order to get a letter finished at all, and to prevent my penpals from recieving 'furry' letters... Since they all have pedigrees, they all have fancy names, but I'll just list their names-for-everyday-use here. Here they are:
Sha're (Yes, she was named after a certain Stargate SG1 character)

We have four cats, let's see what kinds of pictures I have. So first this is Rawly aka squish, mer kitty, and Rawly, Rawly, Rawly:
Spot, his brother, aka spotarusky, spotter, or spot, spot:
Their sister, Shya, aka kitty girl, ta-da!, or Shya Shya (what is with us doubling up their names?)
And finally Artie, who we rescued 2 years later. Aka Fatty McFatster, Artie Smarties or Art Smart.
Three black cats, yes. Rawly and Shya have white patches in identical places so it is their size and tail that distinguishes them. And personality once you live with them of course. Artie is all black.

I have a cat, or rather I am her Human. She was found in the Steam room in the barn - Swedish Sauna, yeah well anyway she was very Feral and had just had kittens, so her name is very original - Mamma Kitty. I am about the only person she lets pick her up. She is not photographic, aim anything at her and she disappears - sorta like Casper the friendly ghost. I will try.

Apologies, I will go figure out how to fix this and repost the pictures. Indeed, 8 Maine Coons at this time. We used to breed them, but due to personal circumstances we've ended up with a group that is too much interrelated, and since our philosophy is that every cat has a forever home with us, we have had to quit breeding for a few years, and just enjoy them every day!Originally Posted by inlovewithjournals
