    Default Don't know if there is/isn't a penspotting thread,but.......

As the title says,I didn't know if there was or wasn't a penspotting thread, but
a trailer for the movie "Monuments Men" shows a document that's just been
signed, the writer holding a pen in the right hand. The pen is obviously not
vintage. The section has a gold collar on the front of it. Not sure what type
    it is.

Tried to upload the scene from the featurette, but got a 404 message.

"Life Story," a great movie by BBC about the discovery of the structure of DNA has many fountain pens, including vintage Conway Stewarts in colorful celluloid in it.

Saw the movie today(great movie,BTW). The scene(spoiler alert!) is Hitler signing
his "Nero" document. I think they're trying to give the impression that Hitler used
an MB(149?) from the looks of the clip.

I enjoy a bit of pen spotting. Everytime I see the opening titles of 'Call The Midwife' I wonder which pen was used as the writing suggests quite a lot of flex to the nib. For those in the UK, do have a look.
