Default San Diego Pen Club - Saturday, November 18, 2023 - 10:00 am

The San Diego Pen Club will be meeting next Saturday, November 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This will take place at a new location for us: Scripps Miramar Ranch Library, 10301 Scripps Lake Rd., San Diego, CA 92137

Since it is the first meeting since Fountain Pen Day 2023, bring anything that entered your realm recently - pens, inks, whatever. We've got a few things to discuss at the top of the meeting, but there will be tons of time for play. See you then and there!

Haha... it came out of a discussion that touched on the 'colorways' trend to get people to buy many versions of (essentially) the same pen, and the similar trend for new/young/impoverished pen nerds to buy a bunch of Jinhao 82s and swap up all the parts to... make their *own* colorways. BTW, only the two middle pens are real, shot over a photo in a pen book.

Otherwise I would have copped a Mandarin for a swap, too.
