Here is a pen that either you hate or you like. I like this one. It could almost be one of those guilty pleasures. The blue of the barrel is supposed to imitate the color of chrome as it changes when the heat of the engine is applied. It is one of those sleeper pens nobody really wants to admit is good. The clip is spring loaded, so very easy to operate but really all that needs to be said is exceptionally wet and super smooth M nib. It is one of the pens I already had photos of but have not redone with my Vader theme. Expect a new set of pictures to be done. In the mean time...

I think I'm in love with that satin blue,greeny-grey colour. The chrome fitting are really nice too and the angled cut of the cap is quirky. Great styling on the Waterman Harley Davidson Combustion Chamber, very eye-catching.


A version in bronze-purple with brass fittings would be very arcano-steampunk.

Yes, they call that bluing. Terrible on a motorcycle, but I see the appeal in a pen.

Hehe, I do remember you saying you liked the color, the first time I posted this on the "other" board. There is very little green in it though. It does have the bluish purple look to it, almost like a chameleon paint job.

Ha! I always liked the look of it. I just don't like it if you burn in fingerprints. Maybe that's why my brother wants the matte black pipes on his Harley. It goes with the matte black paint job it has already.

It is deceiving. It is very comfortable to use. The ridges are actually not that deep and give you a little something to grip. The cap posts securely by clicking in place. That is what I think would make it uncomfortable. The back weight is too much but not a problem for me since I don't usually post my caps.

The grip section is similar to a lot of mechanical pencils. Many of which have deeper grooving and are still quite comfortable.
